How do I troubleshoot sensor issues with my robot?
EnergizeLab · 2023/01/29

Situation 1:

The robot fell accidentally and remains in a fear of heights state even when not lifted.

Navigate to the second page of "Settings" and slide down the left arm until an "x" appears. Touch the head to confirm and disable the Acrophobia feature. If unable to access the "Settings", try fixing it by updating the firmware. After the update, try turning off the Acrophobia feature. If a normal update fails, consider resetting the procedure of the robot

When placed on a black desktop, the robot remains in a fear of heights state even when not lifted.

The infrared sensor might be incorrectly recognizing the black tabletop. Try placing the robot on a surface of a different color.

Situation 3:

When lifted, the robot does not enter the fear of heights state.

Navigate to the second page of "Settings" and slide up the left arm. Touch the head to confirm and enable the Acrophobia feature.
